เมื่อวันที่ 18 พฤษภาคม 2569 ที่ผ่านมา ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.กุสุมา กูใหญ่ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสันติศึกษา ให้การต้อนรับ คุณกิตติพงษ์ สุ่นประเสริฐ บรรณารักษ์และหัวหน้าสำนักงานกรุงเทพ สำนักงานหอสมุดรัฐสภาอเมริกัน สถานทูตสหรัฐอเมริกาประจำประเทศไทย (Library of Congress Representative Office, U.S. Embassy Thailand) ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเพื่อรวบรวมสิ่งพิมพ์ทางวิชาการในพื้นที่ และแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับกระบวนการจัดทำวารสารของสถาบันสันติศึกษา ณ ห้องประชุมสถาบันสันติศึกษา โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.บุษบง ชัยเจริญวัฒนะ บรรณาธิการวารสารความขัดแย้งและสันติศึกษา (CPSJ) ร่วมต้อนรับ
ในการนี้ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสันติศึกษา และบรรณาธิการฯ ได้ให้ข้อมูลแนวทางการดำเนินงานของวารสารความขัดแย้งและสันติศึกษา (Conflict and Peace Studies Jornal: CPSJ) ซึ่งเป็นวารสารในการกำกับดูแลของสถาบันสันติศึกษา รวมไปถึงชี้แจงแนวทางการบริหารจัดการห้องสมุดสถาบันสันติศึกษา วิทยาเขตหาดใหญ่ และห้องสมุดสถานวิจัยความขัดแย้งและความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมภาคใต้ สถาบันสันติศึกษา วิทยาเขตปัตตานี
ในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ สถาบันสันติศึกษาได้มอบหนังสือและสิ่งพิมพ์ทางวิชาการของสถาบันฯ ซึ่งเป็นผลงานของคณาจารย์และนักวิจัยประจำสถาบันสันติศึกษา ให้แก่สำนักงานหอสมุดรัฐสภาอเมริกัน เพื่อสนับสนุนการรวบรวมและเผยแพร่ทรัพยากรทางวิชาการในระดับนานาชาติ
สถาบันสันติศึกษารู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ให้การต้อนรับในครั้งนี้ และหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าจะเกิดความร่วมมือด้านการเผยแพร่ผลงานวิชาการและวารสารความขัดแย้งและสันติศึกษา (CPSJ) เพื่อประโยชน์ทางวิชาการในระดับนานาชาติต่อไป
Institute for Peace Studies Welcomes Head of the Library of Congress Office in Bangkok for Academic Exchange on Library and Journal Management

On 18 May 2026, the Institute for Peace Studies (IPS), Prince of Songkla University (PSU), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kusuma Kooyai, Director of the Institute, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bussabong Chaijaroenwatana, Editor in Chief of the Conflict and Peace Studies Journal (CPSJ), welcomed Mr. Kittipong Soonprasert, Head of Library of Congress Representative Office, U.S. Embassy Thailand, for his visit to IPS, PSU, to exchange knowledge on academic journal management, and to collect academic publications published in the southern region.
During the exchange, the Director and Editor in Chief presented the Conflict and Peace Studies Journal (CPSJ) editorial and publication management processes, and also shared information regarding the management of IPS libraries at both Hat Yai Campus and at the Center for Conflict Studies and Cultural Diversity (CSCD) Library, Pattani Campus.
On this occasion, the Institute for Peace Studies (IPS) also presented books and academic publications produced by the IPS’s faculty members and researchers to the Library of Congress Representative Office in support of the collection and dissemination of academic resources at the international level.
IPS is honored to welcome the representative from the Library of Congress and sincerely hopes that this visit will contribute to future academic collaboration and wider dissemination of scholarly publications and the Conflict and Peace Studies Journal (CPSJ).
